Alan Haburchak is a multimedia journalist and currently a Digital Media Fellow at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
As a student at Columbia he worked on a masters project exploring the lives of laid-off Bear Stearns employees, as well as reporting/producing multimedia content for the online magazine nyc24.com.
Also while at Columbia, Alan worked as reporter, producer, and editor on coverage of Barack Obama and John McCain’s visit and the 2008 election in New York City, to which he contributed print and multimedia pieces.
Before delving into journalism he gained experience with search engine optimization and content management for the site LegalView.info, as well as reporting experience covering the Colorado statehouse for Law Week Colorado and StateBill.com
He is currently available for video editing, freelance multimedia journalism, or web development projects.
